We reserve the right to change our Cancellation Policy at any time. If we do this, we will post a notice that we have made material changes to this Policy on our website for at least 7 days before the changes are posted and will indicate at the top of this Cancellation Policy the date this policy was last revised. It’s important that you review the changed policies. Any revisions to this Cancellation Policy will become effective (i) on the effective date or (ii) the first time you access or use the Platform after any such changes. If you do not agree to any part of this or any future Cancellation Policy, do not use, rent, access or participate in (or continue to use, rent, access or participate in) the Platform. We encourage you to periodically review this page for the latest information on our cancellation practices.
GymLynx offers the following Cancellation Policy that we will enforce to protect all parties. Prior to payment, both the Trainer and Gym have the ability to cancel or not accept a rental request directly on the reservations webpage.
Trainers may cancel at any time PRIOR TO PAYING by simply clicking the "cancel" button on the appropriate reservation.
AFTER payment and BEFORE the scheduled start time of the rented space, the following policies will be used to determine if a refund will occur and how much of a refund will be provided.
- Over 24 hours in advance of the reservation start time, you may cancel, however, there is a nominal cancellation fee of 10% of the rental price.
- Under 24 hours prior to your reservation start time, there will be no refunds, charge-backs, disputes or non-payment of any manner. Even if you initiate your reservation under 24 hours of the start time, the same policy applies.
AFTER the scheduled start time, NO refunds will be provided.
After a Gym accepts a rental request, the Gym may still cancel at any time prior to the Trainer confirming the rental (by paying for the rental space). After a Trainer pays and confirms the rental reservation, then...
A Gym may cancel a reservation at any time due to safety concerns, natural disaster, extenuating circumstances or any other valid matter affecting that facility. If this needs to occur, you will receive a full refund. A Gym may not cancel for convenience or any prejudice, including but not limited to sex, race, age, religion or lifestyle. If you feel this was the case, we encourage you to report the gym's suspected actions to GymLynx.
If there is a complaint from either party about the rental, notice must be given to GymLynx within 48 hours of the reservation start time. If no complaint is filed within that time, NO refunds will be available for any reason. You are fully responsible for paying the price in full and not filing any disputes with 3rd parties or requesting any credit card chargebacks. You agree that GymLynx will mediate all complaints and has the final say in all disputes between the parties.
A reservation is not officially canceled until the Trainer receives a cancellation confirmation e-mail from GymLynx. If you are the Gym, you will also receive a cancellation email. If the cancellation e-mail is not received within 15 minutes of your request, contact GymLynx immediately at email@example.com.
Refunds will ONLY be provided if you pay through the GymLynx website. For fraud protection, ALWAYS pay through the GymLynx website and NEVER pay with cash, Western Union or any other form of wire transfer directly to an individual or gym. If you do pay outside of the GymLynx secure website, GymLynx's obligations and your rights will become null and void. If you suspect fraud, please notify GymLynx as soon as possible.
